God's faithfulness in my life
Ada Uzondu, Director
I grew up in a Christian home, learning how to pray and memorizing Bible passages. In my early Christian life, I asked God to make me a vessel of gold and honor to be used by Him. God called me to Himself using John 15:16: You did not choose me, but I chose you and appointed you so that you might go and bear fruit—fruit that will last—and so that whatever you ask in my name the Father will give you. I was ordained as a missionary evangelist. In 2011, I became the head of the prayer department at the church I was serving, and my role was to organize prayers with all the leaders. I prayed with different leaders of the church every night for over 1 year. This marked the beginning of my passion for prayer.

From July 1 to August 10, 2016, I did a 40-day fast while I was a student at Asbury Theological Seminary, KY. I walked around the school building, praying and anointing the school, walking into the offices, and asking staff, professors, and students how I could pray for them. This led to the development of a prayer book. I prayed for them and continued to check on them, getting updates on answered prayers and new prayer requests. Currently, I have more than 300 names in my prayer book. I have seen God move in a mighty way and make a significant impact on many lives.

Prayer is like breathing to me. In the same way that I do not have to struggle to breathe, I do not have to struggle to pray. Prayer is my love language, especially praying for others. I do not have to struggle to communicate with the King of my heart, the Lover of my God who is the Almighty God. I love God so much and sometimes, I feel like spending the whole day talking to Him. Talking with God gives me the kind of peace and joy that no man can give. It is in prayer that we know the heart of the Father. I believe God has given me this prayer ministry in order to lift others up to Heaven’s throne. The world will become better when we bring hope and peace to the people around us through this powerful gift of prayer and your partnership.
